前段時(shí)間小E和伙伴們把這篇《The Vain Peacock驕傲的孔雀》繪本改編成了英語(yǔ)劇本并配音自己做了個(gè)動(dòng)畫片，音頻，繪本，劇本分享一下。

Script of The Vain Peacock

Characters ：Narrator Peacock  Crow  Donkey

Scene：8 scenes

Scene 1

Narrator: Peacock was famous for her beauty. She had a long graceful neck. She had a large colorful tail. When Peacock struck a pose, her feathers glittered in the sun. Peacock looked at herself seven times each hour.

Peacock: I am so gorgeous!

Crow: She is full of herself!

Scene 2

Crow: She is so bigheaded!

Peacock: What did you say?

Crow: I was just telling Donkey how beautiful you are. It is a shame that we are the only ones who may admire your beauty. Don't you want to share your beauty with others?

Scene 3

Peacock: You're right! I will visit the King so that he can see my beauty, too!

Narrator: All the animals were glad to see Peacock go. (1.14)

Crow: Maybe she won't be so vain when she returns.

Donkey: We'll see whether she learns a lesson.

Scene 4

Narrator: Seven days later, Peacock returned home.

Peacock: I met the King, and he said I was quite lovely!

Donkey: Oh, how nice, What else did the King say?

Peacock: When I sang for the King, he said that I was wonderful! He said I have a beautiful voice. 

Scene 5

Narrator: Actually, Peacock couldn't sing because Peacock's voice was terrible.

Donkey: Really? 

Peacock: Yes,really! Just ask the King. After singing, I flew across the lake. The King said that I was as graceful as a swan. He wanted to give me a medal. 

Scene 6

Narrator: Actually Peacock couldn't fly well, either.

Donkey: Is that true?

Peacock: Of course. Just ask the King, and he will tell you!

Donkey: Peacock, we can't visit the King. You must show us how well you sing. Show us how gracefully you fly, too. 

Scene 7

Narrator: Peacock was silent, and then she blushed.

Donkey: Don’t be shy!

Narrator: Peacock knew she had to sing, so she opened her mouth and sang.

Peacock: OW! OW! 

Donkey: Are you in pain?

Peacock: I sang better for the King.  

Donkey: Then show us how well you can fly!  

Scene 8

Peacock: I wish I had time, but I have an important meeting now!

Crow: Maybe you can fly there. (laugh)

Narrator: Crow laughed and Peacock walked away quickly as she muttered.

Peacock: Maybe next time!

Donkey: I have a good feeling about Peacock. I think that Peacock won't be quite so vain anymore!
