最近看了這個年度電視劇，其實我很少看國產(chǎn)電視劇，偶爾質(zhì)量高點的會看，雖然中國式大團圓結(jié)局失去了藝術(shù)感，但劇本表達的內(nèi)涵還是在其中傳達出來了。可能每個人看到的東西不一樣，我看到的是”和解” ， 人生無非就是在學(xué)會和自己的過往和解，和他人和解，和這個世界和解。 

這個時候會想，怎么用英文表達這個含義？

提到這個詞“和解”， 我不由自主想到了這個英文單詞----reconcile.

reconcile [?rek?nsa?l] v. 和解，調(diào)停

用法1： reconcile with sb: 與... 和解

He tried to reconcile her with her family. 

他嘗試讓她與家里人和好。 

腦子里出現(xiàn)了溫暖的小石.... 

用法2： reconcile to :使甘心于， 使安于，妥協(xié)

英文解釋： : to cause to submit to or accept something unpleasant.

你從不甘心接受你的過往 

You never reconcile to your past. 

用法3 ： reconcile oneself to :和自己和解，接受現(xiàn)實

She couldn't reconcile herself to the failture of her family. 

她不甘心家庭的失敗。 

美劇《DROP DEAD DIVA》里有這樣一集，一個重病的父親和Jane談起自己的兒子，心存遺憾。 

最后，分享一首我很久以前聽過的英文歌，是在那首歌里，我第一次認識 reconcile這個詞，被Muse唱出來是那么有力量。 

名字叫undisclosed desires, 未被滿足的愿望，歌詞大意就是希望你能和心中未能實現(xiàn)的欲望和解。 

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart

I want to recognise your beauty's not just a mask

I want to exorcise the demons from your past

I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

翻譯：  

我想調(diào)停你內(nèi)心的暴力，我想辨識你的美麗而非一個面具，我想驅(qū)散你過去的惡魔，實現(xiàn)你未能實現(xiàn)的愿望。 

最后，reconcile這個詞，不等于compromise 妥協(xié)，那是不得已的妥協(xié)，而reconcile講的是內(nèi)心的解脫和自我的開解，也可以叫做放下吧！
